RPM (Revenue Per Mille) measures the average revenue earned per 1,000 video views, from all revenue sources combined (ads, memberships, Super Chat, etc.). It's the most relevant overall profitability indicator for a creator. RPM varies significantly by niche, audience location, and seasonality (Q4 = maximum CPM).
